The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) recently released the results of two studies involving primarily lower-income families. One study found that at age 20, those who had attended a quality Pre-Kindergarten were more likely to have finished high school than children who hadn’t. They were also less likely to have been held back in school, or to have needed remedial help.
A second study found that at age 27, those who had attended Pre-Kindergarten had higher monthly earnings and had completed a higher level of schooling than children who hadn’t.
How can you offer your preschool children the best?
Visitation Catholic School has offered three and four year olds a quality Catholic Pre-Kindergarten program for nearly twenty years. Students learn about their Catholic faith while they develop strong academic foundations.
Half-day and full-day sessions are still available at both the Visitation and St. Ann sites. Please call us for more information.
