The Viking Crew Needs YOU!

Once again, the time for Dragonboating approaches! Thanks to an anonymous donor, Visitation Catholic School again has the opportunity to put together a dragonboat team to compete in the Tacoma Maritime Fest Dragon Boat Race on September 16.

We are looking for a total of 22 students, boys and girls, who will be at least 12 years old at the time of the race. Team members and their parents must commit to one introductory meeting, three two-hour practices over the summer, and the full day on race day.

If your child is interested in being on the team, or just in finding out more, please come to our initial meeting on Thursday, May 3 at 6PM in the school cafeteria. We’ll be setting the practice schedule, so please bring you calendars.
